Job Requirements

  • bachelor's degree in business or related degree
  • 3-5 years of event planning experience with corporate or hospitality focus
  • strong background in food and beverage management including menu planning and catering
  • skilled in managing multiple timelines and vendor relationships
  • excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • physical ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for long periods
  • ability to manage risk, compliance, and permitting for events

  • equivalent relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree
  • 3-5 years of event planning experience with corporate or hospitality focus
  • strong understanding of food service operations and event catering
  • skilled in juggling multiple timelines, vendors, and expectations
  • strong communicator, negotiator, and creative thinker
  • ability to lift and carry objects up to 25 pounds and stand for extended periods

Job Duties

  • collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop, implement, and achieve established event goals
  • manage event budgets, vendor contracts, and financial reporting
  • coordinate logistics including venue, decor, entertainment and AV
  • oversee food and beverage planning, tastings, and compliance
  • serve as primary liaison with internal clients and stakeholders
  • lead on-site event operations and ensure a seamless guest experience
  • train and manage event staff and labor schedules
  • ensure all events meet compliance, permitting, and risk management standards
  • conduct post-event evaluations and report on success metrics
  • foster strong working relationships across departments to drive teamwork and event excellence
