Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree required
- Minimum five years event management experience
- Ability to analyze information and solve logistical challenges
- Detail-oriented with a desire to learn
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office including Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
- Excellent communication and public speaking skills
- Experience with project management
- Ability to work independently and prioritize
- Complete and pass Avenue5 Fair Housing and Preventing Discrimination training
- Flexible schedule including weekends and holidays
- Limited travel availability
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds
- Must observe and respond to emergency cues
- Ability to remain stationary and move as needed
- Ability to communicate clearly and convey instructions
- Visual and auditory perception abilities
- Ability to tolerate stress
- Work under minimal to moderate supervision
Job Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- Certified Meeting Professional designation preferred
- Minimum five years managing multiple simultaneous events
- Experience with event services software preferred
- Experience in real estate or property management preferred
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational and project management experience
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
- High level of professionalism and integrity
Job Duties
- Plan and execute corporate events including leadership conferences and team meetings
- Conduct event site research and provide cost-effective recommendations
- Negotiate contract terms with suppliers for accommodations and services
- Coordinate all event logistics including venue sourcing, setup, registrations, and transportation
- Leverage technology to track event details and produce reports
- Prepare and monitor event budgets and manage related financial processes
- Manage on-site event production and resolve any issues
- Implement event evaluation frameworks to improve processes
- Propose ideas to enhance event planning and execution
- Perform other corporate marketing and related duties as assigned
