Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
  • 5-7 years of meeting management tradeshow and event experience with internal and external customers
  • 5+ years of project management experience
  • Cvent expertise including RFP website development overall management communications and reporting
  • Experience partnering with external agencies and vendors
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills
  • Excellent communication and presentation abilities
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Valid drivers license
  • Ability to lift heavy objects up to 35 pounds
  • Willingness to travel 25%-50% including weekends

Job Qualifications

  • 5-7 years of meeting management tradeshow and event experience with internal and external customers
  • 5+ years of project management experience managing complex timetables successfully in a collaborative extremely fast paced environment
  • Cvent expertise RFP website development overall management communications reporting
  • Experience partnering with external relationships agencies vendors and working with cross-functional internal teams creative services marketing operations which support direct efforts and collaborate closely to develop and successfully execute programs
  • Business driving strengths including strong analytical organization and planning abilities and solution-oriented decision-making
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels within Enterprise
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Strong understanding of meeting technologies
  • This position will require approximately 25%-50% travel including weekends
  • Must be able to carry and lift heavy objects up to 35 pounds
  • Valid drivers license in state of hire

Job Duties

  • Plan implement and manage both in-person and virtual meetings tradeshows and sponsorships that support internal business partner goals and objectives
  • Communicate with stakeholders and team internally and externally to establish appropriate event strategies and clearly communicate objectives project status and updates on a regular basis
  • Configure budgets for all shows and events manages and tracks all events through Cvent the companys software management systems
  • Identify opportunities to source creative event options and activations off-site venues and entertainment based on program format and budget
  • Develop and maintain internal business partner relationships by delivering highest level of customer service while delivering successful event outcomes
  • Partner with internal business partners and teams to establish appropriate event strategies and project plans ensuring clear communications of objectives timelines budget project status expectations while providing updates on a regular basis
  • Collaborate with cross functional teams such as legal IT HR and marketing to facilitate components of meetings and various needs
  • Partner with procurement on legal contracts SOWs LOAs
  • Deliver operational requirements and tasks in the agreed timeline per internal stakeholder requests
  • Remain current and updated on industry trends in event management and integrate them into the design of the event when applicable
  • Ensure compliance policy and procedures are followed completes all required approvals and processes
  • Work in collaboration with the corporate meetings and events team on agreed upon events from start to finish including venue sourcing pre-event planning project management registration management budget management onsite event support final reconciliation and billing accuracy meeting close out and other duties
  • Provide onsite support to implement meetings and events
