Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in business or a related field or equivalent relevant experience
- 3-5 years of event planning experience in corporate or hospitality environment
- strong background in food and beverage management, including menu planning and food quantity forecasting
- excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
- strong communication and negotiation skills
- physical ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for long periods
- ability to manage multiple vendors and client expectations simultaneously
Job Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in business or related degree
- 3-5 years of event planning experience with corporate or hospitality focus
- strong understanding of food service operations and event catering
- skilled in juggling multiple timelines, vendors, and expectations
- strong communicator, negotiator, and creative thinker
- ability to lift, carry, or otherwise move or position objects up to 25 pounds and stand for extended periods
Job Duties
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop, implement, and achieve established event goals
- manage event budgets, vendor contracts, and financial reporting
- coordinate logistics including venue, décor, entertainment and AV
- oversee food and beverage planning, tastings, and compliance
- serve as primary liaison with internal clients and stakeholders
- lead on-site event operations and ensure a seamless guest experience
- train and manage event staff and labor schedules
- ensure all events meet compliance, permitting, and risk management standards
- conduct post-event evaluations and report on success metrics
- foster strong working relationships across departments to drive teamwork and event excellence
