Job Requirements

  • BA/BS degree in business, hospitality, event planning or related field
  • 3-5 years of related work experience
  • excellent customer service skills
  • strong verbal communication skills
  • excellent organizational and time management skills
  • ability to work independently and handle multiple priorities
  • ability to work extended hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • physical ability to walk or stand for several hours
  • positive and team-oriented attitude
  • ability to handle confidential information
  • self-starter mentality

Job Qualifications

  • BA/BS degree in business, hospitality, event planning or related field
  • 3-5 years of related work experience
  • experience managing and planning events
  • excellent customer service skills
  • strong verbal communication and listening skills
  • ability to write correspondence, contracts, memos, and reports
  • experience building productive work relationships
  • excellent organizational and time management skills
  • ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently

Job Duties

  • Manages all logistics for corporate/private events
  • assists in determining event strategies and plans for event success
  • determines needs and resolves problems with client-focused decisions
  • manages facility staffing needs and coordinates with security, operations, and guest services
  • instructs contracted staff on event days
  • manages small to mid-size events involving subcontractors and vendors
  • develops and manages business relationships with clients and vendors
  • prepares event paperwork including work orders, floor plans, event reports, and invoicing
  • manages event expenses from contracting to settlement
  • assists team members with NFL and NCAA events
  • monitors events to ensure adherence to building rules and safety procedures
  • conducts site tours for prospective and booked clients
  • demonstrates facility capabilities and operations
