Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in business or related degree or equivalent relevant experience
- 3-5 years of event planning experience with a corporate or hospitality focus
- Strong knowledge of food service operations and event catering
- Excellent multitasking skills to manage multiple timelines and vendor relationships
- Strong communication, negotiation, and creative problem-solving abilities
- Physical ability to lift objects up to 25 pounds and stand for extended periods
- Ability to lift dresses on and off rolling racks, mannequins, and models
Job Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in business or related degree
- Equivalent relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree
- 3-5 years of event planning experience with a corporate or hospitality focus
- Strong understanding of food service operations and event catering
- Skilled in juggling multiple timelines, vendors, and expectations
- Strong communicator, negotiator, and creative thinker
- Ability to lift, carry, or move objects weighing up to 25 pounds and stand for extended periods
Job Duties
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop, implement, and achieve established event goals
- Manage event budgets, vendor contracts, and financial reporting
- Coordinate logistics including venue, décor, entertainment and AV
- Oversee food and beverage planning, tastings, and compliance
- Serve as primary liaison with internal clients and stakeholders
- Lead on-site event operations and ensure a seamless guest experience
- Train and manage event staff and labor schedules
- Ensure all events meet compliance, permitting, and risk management standards
- Conduct post-event evaluations and report on success metrics
- Foster strong working relationships across departments to drive teamwork and event excellence
