Job Requirements

  • 5+ years of progressive food & beverage management experience (multi-unit or resort background preferred)
  • Proven record of improving profitability and guest satisfaction
  • Strong financial understanding of F&B cost controls, labor management and P&L analysis
  • Hands-on leadership style - comfortable working alongside property teams when needed
  • Creative approach to menu design and guest experience
  • Excellent communication, coaching and organizational skills
  • Ability to travel to F&B locations (Ogunquit, Wells, Old Orchard, Portland, Boothbay Harbor, Augusta, West Lebanon, Bar Harbor)
  • Ability to stand for 8 hours and push or pull 50 pounds and lift and/or carry 50 pounds

Job Duties

  • Oversee all company food and beverage outlets to ensure operational consistency, profitability and guest satisfaction
  • Partner with property-level managers to analyze performance, control costs, and improve margins
  • Work with property GMs and Head of Facilities to implement systems, address issues and fix problems
  • Recruit, train and mentor F&B management teams
  • support career growth and retention
  • Lead menu development and pricing strategy - blending creativity, seasonality and cost control
  • Develop staffing models and labor plans appropriate to each operation's volume and seasonality
  • Establish best practices for service, training and guest engagement across properties
  • Conduct periodic on-site reviews to evaluate quality, service standards and compliance
  • Fill in or support operations during management transitions or high-volume periods
  • Collaborate with marketing to promote seasonal offerings, special events and partnerships
  • New concept development
