Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in hospitality, business, or related field
- minimum 5 years of experience in beverage and service leadership roles within hotel or restaurant settings
- demonstrated ability to design and implement beverage programs driving revenue and margin
- experience in supplier management and contract negotiations
- strong knowledge of inventory and cost controls
- excellent communication and organizational skills
- willingness to travel up to 75% as required
- ability to work flexible hours including holidays and weekends
- physical ability to stand for extended periods and perform light lifting up to 25 pounds
Job Qualifications
- Proven success leading beverage and service programs in hotels or independent restaurant groups
- experience managing multi-location beverage operations
- expertise in menu engineering for wine, cocktails, and zero-proof drinks
- skills in supplier negotiation and managing enterprise partnerships including pricing and compliance
- proficiency in cost and inventory control with experience in common POS and beverage software tools
- strong leadership in front-of-house training and service standards with excellent communication and organization
- knowledge of liquor laws and responsible service practices
- credentials such as WSET, Sommelier, or TIPS certification are a plus
- ability to travel extensively for on-site support across a hotel portfolio
Job Duties
- Design innovative, well-balanced beverage menus including wine selections and craft cocktails
- identify and partner with high-quality beverage suppliers ensuring quality and cost-effectiveness
- monitor inventory levels, minimize waste, and control costs to maintain profitability
- educate and train bar and service teams on mixology, wine knowledge, service etiquette, and beverage pairings
- ensure compliance with health, safety, and liquor laws including responsible service protocols
- elevate guest satisfaction through tastings, promotions, and knowledgeable beverage guidance
- oversee reservations and guest platforms such as OpenTable GuestCenter and ResyOS, analyzing trends and managing floor reservations
