Job Requirements

  • Education in hospitality management or related field preferred
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in beverage program leadership
  • Experience managing multi-location or portfolio beverage operations
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as lifting up to 25 pounds
  • Availability to travel frequently and work on holidays or weekends
  • Valid certifications in responsible alcohol service a plus

Job Qualifications

  • Proven success leading beverage and service programs in hotels or multi-location independent restaurant groups
  • Expertise in menu engineering for wine, cocktails, and zero-proof beverages to drive revenue and margin
  • Skilled in supplier negotiation and establishing enterprise partnerships
  • Proficiency in cost and inventory control using common POS and beverage tools
  • Strong leadership in front-of-house training and service standards
  • Knowledge of liquor laws and responsible service, WSET, Sommelier, or TIPS certification a plus
  • Willingness and ability to travel up to 75% across multiple properties

Job Duties

  • Design innovative beverage menus including wine selections, craft cocktails, and complementary drinks
  • Identify and partner with quality beverage suppliers to ensure cost-effectiveness
  • Monitor inventory levels and control costs to maintain profitability
  • Train bar and service teams on mixology, wine knowledge, and service etiquette
  • Ensure adherence to health, safety, and liquor laws with responsible service protocols
  • Elevate guest satisfaction through tastings, promotions, and beverage guidance
  • Oversee reservation platforms including OpenTable GuestCenter and ResyOS and analyze guest trends
