Job Description
Aramark is a global leader in food service, facilities management, and uniform services, known for its commitment to delivering high-quality and innovative solutions across various industries including education, healthcare, business, sports, and leisure. Founded with a vision to create meaningful impact, Aramark operates in 15 countries worldwide, attending to the needs of millions of patrons each day. The company prides itself on fostering an equitable and inclusive working environment where every employee is valued and given equal opportunities regardless of race, color, religion, gender, or any other protected characteristic. Aramark’s culture emphasizes sustainability, client satisfaction, and continuous employee development, which makes it a trusted partner for their clients and an employer of choice for diverse talents globally.
The role of Corporate Dining Director at Aramark is a leadership position focused on designing and implementing dining solutions that meet the tastes and requirements of customers while managing budgetary limits and ensuring compliance with company standards and regulations. This role oversees dining facilities where customers can order cooked meals from predefined menus, ensuring operational excellence and high customer satisfaction. The Corporate Dining Director is responsible for supervising, training, and motivating teams to achieve peak productivity and maintain high standards of safety, sanitation, and quality. Offering rewards and recognition for outstanding employee contributions is also a key part of fostering a positive work environment. The role demands a strategic approach to integrating Aramark’s operational policies, managing financial performance including profit generation and P&L monitoring, and aligning food service operations with the client’s objectives and sustainable practices.
Beyond team leadership, the Corporate Dining Director builds and maintains strong relationships with clients by effectively communicating operational updates and exploring opportunities for business growth through new offerings. The position also requires rigorous oversight of resource management—focusing on cost control, labor optimization, and quality assurance—to maximize value and operational efficiency. Compliance with health, safety, wage, and sanitation regulations is strictly enforced to create safe dining environments.
This leadership role impacts key operational areas such as food selection, storage, cooking, serving, and menu development. The Director actively engages in forecasting, accounting oversight, and conducting periodic stock checks to ensure financial and operational targets are met. Recruiting and retaining front-line staff, mentoring them, and coordinating cross-departmental collaborations to harmonize the food service experience are intrinsic responsibilities. Additionally, the director is authorized to participate in sales and contract discussions, supporting client retention and the introduction of innovative dining options.
Aramark’s Corporate Dining Director position mandates a minimum of four years of experience, including 1 to 3 years in management roles within the food service industry, and requires either a bachelor’s degree or equivalent hands-on experience. Strong communication skills and the ability to establish productive client relationships are essential. Physical requirements include occasional lifting of loads up to 50 pounds and standing for extended periods.
Working at Aramark means being part of a global community that values sustainable approaches, equal opportunity employment, and extensive training programs designed to develop leadership skills and career advancement. The company provides a supportive environment that rewards hard work and innovation, with benefits that promote employee well-being and professional growth. As a Corporate Dining Director, you will play a pivotal role in delivering exceptional dining experiences that reflect Aramark’s standards of excellence and client-centered focus.
