Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field
- CPA strongly preferred
- 5-8 years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role
- public accounting experience (Big 4 or mid-tier) strongly desired
- strong knowledge of US GAAP and internal controls
- experience with multi-entity consolidations
- hospitality or real estate industry experience a plus
- excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
- detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

Job Duties
- Oversee preparation of timely and accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with US GAAP
- ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies
- partner with FP&A and operations teams to provide insights that drive business performance
- manage the coordination and completion of external audits, including serving as the primary liaison with external auditors
- research and assist with the implementation of new accounting standards as required
- lead the daily operations of the corporate accounting function, including general ledger, reconciliations, and consolidations
- lead the shared services function that services the accounting needs for 240+ properties
- oversee and review month-end close processes to ensure completeness and accuracy
- develop, document, and maintain effective accounting policies, processes, and internal controls
- supervise, mentor, and develop members of the accounting team
- identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and accuracy
