Job Requirements

  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • ability to obtain and maintain First Aid and CPR/AED certification
  • willingness to work flexible schedules including evenings, holidays, and weekends
  • ability to lift up to 50 pounds
  • good physical mobility including walking, standing, bending, and reaching
  • basic computer skills for software and POS operations
  • good communication skills
  • ability to respond calmly and effectively in emergency situations
  • ability to maintain a clean and safe facility environment

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Greet all members, prospective members, and guests with a friendly and professional demeanor, providing exceptional customer service
  • lead CORE tours and identify prospects' needs to suggest membership, programming, or coaching solutions
  • promote CORE fitness programs, specials, and services
  • assist with membership sales, renewals, and up-selling to increase revenue
  • use membership management software for sign-ups, cancellations, check-ins, class bookings, and registrations
  • count and reconcile cash drawer at the beginning and end of shifts
  • handle cash and credit card transactions following Standard Operating Procedures
  • perform front desk administrative and clerical tasks including answering phones, responding to emails, and maintaining a clean and organized workspace
  • respond promptly and professionally to member inquiries and concerns, escalating when necessary
  • monitor facility members for safe and appropriate behavior
  • attend staff training sessions and follow SOPs
  • provide basic assistance and guidance with fitness equipment use
  • complete fitness floor opening, maintenance, and closing procedures
  • perform general facility cleaning according to checklists
  • conduct equipment inspections and report maintenance issues
  • assist with scheduling and set-up/tear-down for programs and events
  • monitor locker rooms and restock supplies
  • make announcements during emergencies and closings
  • monitor and respond to safety and emergency situations per SOPs
  • check participants in and out of activities
  • create a safe and nurturing environment for children ages 4 to 12 during fitness activities
  • plan and facilitate age-appropriate games and crafts
  • foster movement-based fun through leader-led activities
  • maintain clean and sanitized play areas
  • communicate effectively with parents about their children’s activities
  • collaborate with other CORE staff to support a cohesive team environment
