Job Requirements
- high school diploma or equivalent
- one or more years of experience in food service
- ability to work in a fast-paced, noisy environment
- ability to maneuver around the restaurant and operate restaurant and office equipment
- communicate effectively with guests
- distinguish different tastes
- availability to work part-time hours
- adherence to food safety and sanitation standards
Job Qualifications
- one or more years of experience working in high-volume and/or guest-facing food service preferred
- working knowledge and/or exposure to dining room and service standards, procedures, and functions
- strong communication skills
- ability to learn and adapt quickly
- team-oriented mindset
- basic understanding of Japanese cuisine and beverages
Job Duties
- work as a team with FOH and BOH to ensure consistent and timely experience for guests through customer service and food quality
- actively assist fellow team members in meeting the needs of guests
- follow company policies, state and food safety and sanitation standards
- continue education surrounding Japanese cuisine and beverages
- perform additional duties specific to the server position
- communicate accurately with customers
- manage orders and serve food and beverages efficiently
