Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- One or more years of experience in guest-facing food service
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication skills
- Availability to work part-time shifts
- Physical ability to perform job duties including standing and maneuvering in a busy restaurant
Job Qualifications
- One or more years of experience working in high-volume and/or guest-facing food service
- Working knowledge and/or exposure to dining room and service standards, procedures, and functions
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Basic understanding of food safety and sanitation practices
Job Duties
- Working as a team with FOH and BOH to ensure consistent and timely experience for guests through customer service and food quality
- Actively assisting fellow team members in meeting the needs of guests
- Following company policies, state and food safety and sanitation standards
- Continued education surrounding Japanese cuisine and beverages
- Additional duties specific to the position
- Provide attentive and courteous service to customers
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area
