Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in EHS or related field preferred
  • 5-8 years experience in EHS roles
  • Proven experience in conducting safety training and risk assessments
  • Strong communication and mentoring skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
  • Willingness and ability to travel up to 80% within designated region
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and EHS software
  • Commitment to promoting safety culture and compliance

Job Qualifications

  • 5-8 years of work experience in the EHS field
  • Bachelor’s degree in EHS or applicable field preferred or equivalent work experience
  • EHS certification a plus
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, software management systems, and EHS management systems and reporting platforms
  • Must have a current, valid driver’s license and a clean driving record
  • Ability to travel and work in the field 80% of the time

Job Duties

  • Provide daily and continuous safety support to their designated region
  • Conduct compliance reviews, general risk assessments and other safety assessments to support EHS management
  • Provide daily guidance and direction in EHS programs to field level, facility leadership, and regional leadership
  • Maintain, audit, and update SOPs for safe work practices and equipment
  • Coach, train, guide, and mentor regional employees through safety management system
  • Review accidents/incidents and conduct field audits, reporting and managing corrective actions
  • Participate in incident investigations and Root Cause Analysis
  • Assist in the development and presentation of relevant EHS training
  • Work with employees and leadership to achieve cultural change
  • Travel to branch locations and jobsites as required
  • Visit and walk jobsites regularly to establish EHS presence and provide support
  • Conduct daily, weekly, and monthly EHS meetings/trainings
  • Perform field safety observations and critical behavior-based safety observations
  • Conduct EHS audits and assessments to measure compliance
  • Serve as single point of contact for region and branch leadership in area of responsibility
  • Ensure EHS policies and systems are trained and available to employees
