Job Requirements
- bachelor's degree in a STEM discipline
- two years experience in an educational environment with K-12 students
- experience with STEM teaching or presenting activities, robotics, 3D modeling or printing, or event planning
- experience in data collection and analysis
- valid state driver's license
- physical ability to lift 15 pounds and handle equipment logistics
- ability to read and communicate in English
- mobility to move around campus
- willingness to travel occasionally within and outside Colorado
- availability for weekdays and some evenings or weekends
Job Qualifications
- bachelor's degree in a STEM discipline from a regionally accredited institution
- two years working in an educational environment with K-12 students
- experience teaching or presenting STEM activities, robotics, 3D modeling, 3D printing, or event planning
- experience with data collection and analysis
- valid state driver's license during period of employment
- knowledge of laws, accreditation standards, and best practices in STEM programs and federal grants
- proficiency with Microsoft Office
- working knowledge of Ellucian Banner
- able to lift 15 pounds
- able to read and communicate in English
- mobility around campus
- able to unload, set up, and load trailer equipment
Job Duties
- manages STEM outreach activities for K-12 students throughout the service areas
- researches the types of STEM supplies and equipment needed and usage assessment
- assesses students to determine best practices in STEM activity delivery methods
- communicates with K-12 students, parents, and STEM professionals
- serves as a key leader in developing and maintaining partnerships with educational institutions
- works with school administration and youth services to deliver STEM experiences
- analyzes collected data to determine best practices for STEM engagement
- collaborates with academic personnel to share STEM information and lessons
- maintains hands-on STEM spaces focusing on 3D printing and robotics
- acts as first point of contact for visitors ensuring positive interactions
- monitors facility safety and accessibility
- implements PCC operating protocols
- administrates forms, reports, records, and requests
- documents services in the STEM student database
- manages inventory and initiates reordering of supplies
