Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent experience
  • At least two years of relevant experience in theatrical lighting, audio and/or sports production
  • At least one year of supervisory experience
  • Knowledge of production equipment including Grand M.A., Yamaha Audio and Ross Video
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks constantly
  • Able to meet deadlines and work effectively in a high-pressure environment
  • Dynamic, hard-working, confident
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds with or without reasonable accommodations
  • Must be able to stand for long periods of time
  • Must be able to work evenings, weekends and holidays, as required

Job Duties

  • Provide preventative maintenance on production assets alongside the Production Manager
  • Forecast capital and operational expenses pertaining to infrastructure and equipment repairs and/or replacement parts
  • Work on capital improvement projects as well as day to day repairs of current assets
  • Assist in the staffing and training of Audio 1, Audio 2 and Lighting Technicians
  • Create relationships with vendor partners to stay ahead of technology advances so we can continually enhance the fan and client experience at FedExForum
  • Coordinate rentals for production and event support
  • Inventory and expendable ordering including asset management and invoicing
  • Ability to communicate technical information to clients and non-technical staff
  • Attentiveness to internal and external clients in pre-production and during events, games & meetings
  • Organize, document, and communicate best practices and training on new equipment or production workflow
  • Other duties as assigned
