Easterseals Rehabilitation Center is a well-established nonprofit organization based in Evansville, Indiana, dedicated to making a profound and positive difference in the lives of local people with disabilities. The center offers a wide range of essential services including physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech therapy, audiology, aquatics, psychology, and more. Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- minimum 3 years direct or equivalent experience in nonprofit, fundraising, event planning, marketing, and communications
- ability to lift 25 lbs frequently
- pass physical, TB test, drug screen, and background checks
- ability to plan and execute overlapping special events focused on fundraising outcomes
- ability to learn donor database software quickly and utilize it effectively
- willingness to work varied hours and high-energy role
- proficiency with Microsoft Office
- superior interpersonal skills
- excellent organizational and project management skills
- highly self-aware and perceptive
Job Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- minimum of 3 years experience in nonprofit, fundraising, event planning, marketing, or communications
- proficiency with Microsoft Office including Word and Excel
- ability to learn and use donor database software
- superior interpersonal and professional communication skills both verbal and written
- excellent organizational and project management abilities
- ability to work effectively in a culturally diverse environment
- highly self-aware and perceptive with confidence and humility
Job Duties
- Coordinate and organize fundraising activities and specific event components
- assist with marketing plans for all events and activities
- work varied hours in a fast-paced environment for planning and executing events including physical setup and takedown
- maintain high standards in fundraising and achieve revenue targets
- lead and support the mission of Easterseals Rehabilitation Center through collaborative teamwork
- build and steward relationships with stakeholders, including donors, volunteers, and media partners
- assist with public relations efforts to promote awareness and enhance organizational image
