Job Qualifications

  • experience in higher education or collegiate athletics environment preferred

Job Duties

  • assist with the management of all indoor and outdoor athletic facilities
  • direct responsibility for the event management of specific sports as assigned including supervision of student and contractual staff event setup and breakdown crowd control and administrative duties
  • coordinate and communicate with coaches and staff regarding use of athletic facilities
  • oversee hiring training and scheduling of building managers
  • serve as parking services liaison and coordinate parking for athletic department events
  • assist with management of facility projects spanning indoor and outdoor venues
  • serve as liaison with scoreboard vendor including maintenance and training for operating scoreboards
  • assist with equipment purchases ensuring appropriate procurement procedures
  • assist the assistant director for athletics facilities management with scheduling of fields and facilities
