Job Requirements
- Minimum of associate degree or equivalent in related field
- 1 to 3 years experience in transportation or logistics
- Experience with Dangerous Goods and HAZ-MAT certification preferred
- Ability to work outside normal business hours
- Ability to manage multiple tasks under pressure
- Ability to communicate clearly in English
- Pass drug screen and background check
- No sponsorship available
- Regular reliable attendance

Job Duties
- Use network of internal and external transportation suppliers to determine efficient and cost effective shipping options
- Evaluate multiple transportation options regarding pricing, timing, availability, and volume
- Serve as front-line communicator for customer and vendor disputes and resolve complaints with exceptional customer service
- Manage multiple tasks and work under pressure to meet deadlines
- Proactively identify shipments at risk and take control to ensure timely delivery
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with service providers
- Work flexible hours and various shifts including on-call duties
- Research possible routings via air, line-haul, pick-up/delivery, scheduling, and geography to utilize efficient routes
- Document all shipments with detailed trace notes and accurate data entry
- Maintain compliance with TSA, DOT, C-TPAT and company security procedures
- Communicate shipment issues promptly to internal and external stakeholders
- Perform other duties as assigned
