Job Requirements
- bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
- minimum 2 years relevant experience in administrative support, customer service, public relations, or hospitality
- ability to work independently and responsibly as on-site staff representative
- proficiency with Microsoft and Google platforms
- experience handling multi-line phone systems
- excellent multitasking and prioritizing skills
- attention to detail and strong organizational abilities
- excellent oral and written communication skills
- ability to maintain confidentiality
- experience supervising student workers
- ability to work occasional nights and weekends
- must pass criminal background check and education verification at Brown University
Job Qualifications

Job Duties
- provide hospitality and front-line reception services at the Maddock Alumni Center
- manage scheduling and building access for events and meetings
- supervise and train student workers assigned to the front desk
- coordinate with campus offices including Facilities for building maintenance and upkeep
- manage supply distribution for Alumni Relations programs and volunteer cohorts
- maintain departmental calendars and assist with event logistics
- ensure the Maddock Alumni Center is prepared and guest-ready for all events and visitors
