Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Minimum of 2 years of previous experience working in a shipping, export control/compliance, order tracking or planning/expediting position including the use of related software
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and related programs and resources
- Excellent customer service skills
- Ability to learn new tasks and processes efficiently and effectively

- Previous coursework or seminar attendance in export compliance, logistics, cold chain shipping is a plus
- Experience with ERP/SAP or shipping software is advantageous
- Understanding of logistics and supply chain industry is beneficial
Job Duties
- Complete daily tracking reports and work with internal and external logistics partners, carriers, customers, and other IDT departments to resolve problems with domestic and international shipments
- Initiate investigation, identify root cause, and implement countermeasures of logistics issues
- Monitor all US inbound and outbound shipments and provide assistance and required documentation for customs clearance
- Communicate with various carriers and US government agencies for expedited customs clearance
- Engage with brokers, freight forwarders, and carriers and share updates with relevant teams
- Monitor daily cold chain shipments and mitigate delays
- Assist IDT's trade compliance in reviewing and enhancing current workflow and perform customer screens in Visual Compliance Screening system
