Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • minimum 2 to 3 years experience in freight forwarding, transport, or logistics
  • certifications in supply chain or dangerous goods preferred
  • proficiency in Excel with V-lookups and pivot tables
  • knowledge of import/export regulations including ISF, TSCA, Lacey Act
  • ability to calculate dimensional weight
  • physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs safely
  • strong communication skills
  • attention to detail
  • ability to meet strict deadlines
  • knowledge of Microsoft Office and PowerPoint
  • willingness to work flexible hours including overtime and holidays

Job Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2 to 3 years experience in freight forwarding, transport, or logistics including internships
  • certifications in supply chain or dangerous goods preferred
  • proficiency in Excel including V-lookups and pivot tables
  • knowledge of air and ocean freight operations and documentation such as ISF, TSCA, Lacey Act
  • understanding of incoterms
  • ability to calculate dimensional weight
  • excellent communication skills
  • strong attention to detail
  • familiarity with Microsoft Office and PowerPoint
  • proven ability to meet deadlines
  • strong written, verbal, and presentation skills
  • accountability and accuracy in work

Job Duties

  • Prepare export shipment documentation for outbound after sales shipments
  • coordinate after sales shipments with freight forwarders and couriers to ensure compliance with US customs regulations
  • work closely with customer service to facilitate timely after sales processes
  • process CITES and Fish & Wildlife shipments
  • provide required Fish & Wildlife documentation for international shipments
  • submit completed CITES documentation to the transportation department in France
  • provide status updates and report shipment issues
  • file entry documentation from Hermes of Paris brokers according to US customs requirements
  • generate tracking reports for management
  • participate in compliance training as directed
  • perform other duties as assigned by supervisor
  • work flexible schedule including overtime and holiday hours as needed
