FWC26 - FIFA World Cup 2026 is a major international sporting event that will be hosted for the first time across three countries: the United States, Canada, and Mexico. This monumental tournament will feature an expanded format with 48 teams and over 1,200 players competing in 16 host cities across North America. Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent education
  • Previous experience in event operations or related fields preferred
  • Strong communication skills

  • Ability to work on feet for extended periods

Job Duties

  • Work with the Host City Volunteer Manager to ensure seamless operational readiness of the Volunteer Center including logistical setup and coordination and operations during recruitment phase
  • Assist in upkeep of back-of-house areas including office and break spaces
  • Assist with Volunteer Platform system maintenance
  • Coordinate with security, IT, and facility management to ensure safety and functionality of venue
  • Manage welcome desk and ensure positive first impressions for arriving volunteers
  • Provide wayfinding assistance throughout Volunteer Center zones including check-in, video room, meeting pods, legacy zone
  • Respond to inquiries from volunteers and staff professionally and accurately
  • Monitor and restock food and beverage areas for volunteers and staff
  • Maintain cleanliness and tidiness to ensure welcoming environment
  • Report and resolve any issues related to process, facilities, technology, or equipment
  • Act as an on-site ambassador for FIFA Volunteer Program to create positive and memorable volunteer experience
