Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent
- Experience in venue operations, hospitality, event management, or customer service
- Strong communication skills, both oral and written
- Ability to stand and work on feet for extended periods
- Flexible schedule including weekends, holidays, and extended hours
- Ability to lift and move light equipment or supplies
- Positive, can-do attitude passionate about large-scale events
- Strong interpersonal skills to engage with volunteers and stakeholders
- Ability to meet deadlines and solve problems
- Team player

- Fluent in English
- Proficiency in MS Office and database management tools

Job Duties
- Work with the Host City Volunteer Manager to ensure logistical setup and operational readiness of the Volunteer Center
- Assist with general upkeep of the Volunteer Center including office and break areas
- Support Volunteer Platform system maintenance
- Coordinate with security, IT, and facility management to ensure safety and functionality
- Manage the welcome desk and provide wayfinding assistance for volunteers
- Respond to inquiries from volunteers and staff in a professional manner
- Monitor and restock food and beverage areas
- Maintain clean and tidy environments
- Report and resolve process, facility, technology, or equipment issues timely
- Act as an on-site ambassador to create a positive volunteer experience
- Ensure all spaces meet FIFA's standards of experience
- Promote a welcoming, functional volunteer environment
