Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent education
  • event planning experience
  • experience implementing student programs
  • ability to plan and coordinate multiple leadership initiatives
  • proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
  • excellent communication skills
  • ability to work collaboratively and build collegial relationships
  • reliable attendance and punctuality
  • willingness to undergo criminal background check and sex offender registry check

Job Qualifications

  • The formal educational equivalent of a bachelor's degree from an accredited institution of higher education
  • event planning experience
  • experience implementing student programs and activities
  • direct experience developing and evaluating leadership programs
  • experience with event planning and program management in higher education
  • experience supervising undergraduate students in leadership positions
  • proficient knowledge and skill using computers and software including Microsoft Office Suite
  • knowledge of event planning and evaluation
  • time management and organizational skills
  • demonstrated excellent oral and written communication skills

Job Duties

  • Plan, manage, and assess leadership programs and initiatives
  • coordinate signature leadership programs such as Graduating Student Leaders and Student Leader of the Month
  • organize outreach events and maintain a campus-wide leadership opportunities database
  • manage logistics and execution of vendor and business fairs like Razorbash
  • facilitate the Arkansas Legacy Leaders Cohort Program
  • collaborate with academic and student affairs partners to develop and implement leadership programs
  • manage budgets and oversee financial processes related to leadership programs
