Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree preferably in event management, hospitality, marketing, business management, or closely related field
  • Two years of experience in event management or hospitality
  • Demonstrated commitment to meeting the needs of diverse populations and organizations
  • Ability to interact effectively with broad campus constituents and community partners
  • Strong verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills

Job Qualifications

  • Experience with 25Live scheduling software and Google Suite strongly preferred

Job Duties

  • Coordinates, initiates, and manages the process for sending and executing contracts/facility rentals
  • Coordinates on-campus services for facility rentals and contractual services such as dining/catering, security, housekeeping through appropriate systems and workflow (e.g., 25Live, Basecamp, Box, DocuSign)
  • Maintains accurate documentation including service requests, quotes, and invoices and reviews and approves administrative tasks such as pricing, billing, and procurement
  • Acts as a primary point-of-contact for all facility rental users throughout planning, stay, and billing
  • Manages software for clients and campus partners including 25Live, Basecamp, Social Tables, Google Suite, Box
  • Provides on-campus event support as necessary and 'on call' services during the summer conference season
  • Works directly with Conference Operations Coordinator and summer conference group leaders to ensure proper roster data and overnight conference group numbers
