Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • two years of experience in event management
  • knowledge of AutoCAD LT program
  • strong-willed and self-motivated
  • ability to follow instructions and respond to management
  • excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills
  • proficiency in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Venue Ops
  • ability to speak clearly and communicate effectively
  • extremely detailed and organized in communication
  • ability to work flexible schedule including long and odd hours
  • ability to lift, push, or pull up to 50lbs
  • able to work in extreme weather and loud environments

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • associate or bachelor’s degree preferred
  • two years of experience in event management
  • arena experience preferred
  • knowledge of AutoCAD LT program
  • ability to work collaboratively with diverse groups
  • excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills
  • proficient in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Venue Ops
  • strong attention to client satisfaction
  • ability to communicate clearly and effectively verbally and in writing
  • extremely detailed and organized in all communications

Job Duties

  • Coordinate, monitor, and supervise the planning and execution of all assigned events held at the arena
  • manage relationships between the Arena, clients, promoters, partners, and vendors
  • participate in regular departmental meetings
  • evaluate rigging analysis for concerts and shows and enforce the bridal plan
  • work within the Venue Ops program to ensure proper info and SOPs are followed
  • disseminate event communication plan through documents and meetings
  • construct shows using AutoCAD based on production notes and provide detailed instructions
  • conduct pre and post-event building walks for safety and readiness
  • document and report damages and defects
  • serve as primary contact with team, promoters, and event representatives
  • coordinate and conduct site surveys to overcome operational barriers
  • ensure facility readiness and client satisfaction
  • attend internal meetings to keep projects updated
  • interact with customer service to resolve conflicts
  • compose and disseminate event outlines and notices
  • function as the liaison with Box Office for seating and production
  • serve as point of contact for assigned events communicating with other departments
  • oversee execution of all event elements including technical, parking, security, and staffing
  • gather and prepare event costs for billing and settlement
  • perform other duties as assigned
