- Strong research writing and listening skills

- Proficient with Microsoft Office products
- Collaborative and able to unite internal interests for greater company good
- Able to maintain and execute an editorial calendar
- Proficient in AP style
- Must currently reside in or be willing to relocate to St George UT
- Ability to sit and work at a computer for extended periods
- This is not a remote position

Job Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in communications or related field preferred
- Work experience in communications public relations or marketing preferred
- Knowledge of current media platforms and technology
- Ability to write meaningful concise content for various communication channels
- Strong interpersonal communication skills
- Proficiency in AP style
- Collaborative mindset
- Experience in airline industry a plus
Job Duties
- Develop and post content for various platforms including company intranet newsletters external websites blog and social media channels
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders to execute consistent messaging that advances the SkyWest brand
- Support employee engagement efforts and promote a positive team-focused culture
- Execute internal and external marketing communications plans including employee events school partner events airport partners pro-rate markets and news conferences
- Interface with external community and school partners to produce relevant SkyWest-branded marketing communications
- Manage company-branded materials including ordering distribution logistics and vendor relationships
- Produce and distribute news releases fact sheets bulletins and corporate correspondence
- Serve as media spokesperson including 24-hour on-call rotation
- Execute SkyWest's crisis communications plan
- Advance Corporate Giving initiatives and audit brand content
- Speak in front of various groups including employees and media
- Track and analyze communications data to enhance reputation
- Serve as project manager as required
