Job Requirements

Job Qualifications

  • Previous kitchen coordination experience a plus
  • Passion for delivering exceptional food experiences
  • Experience guiding and directing groups
  • Ability to communicate clearly and concisely both orally and in writing
  • Excellent verbal and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to independently organize multiple projects and initiatives
  • Collaborative work style with culinary team
  • Ability to compile documents and data from various sources
  • Skilled working with culturally diverse individuals and volunteers
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Google Suite
  • Familiarity with Zoom and Asana a plus
  • Valid SERV Safe Manager Certification or ability to obtain within 90 days

Job Duties

  • Model Feeding Tampa Bay's Grow Code and align with the strategic plan
  • Track multiple programs simultaneously while maintaining separation
  • Train and monitor kitchen volunteers
  • Assist Executive Chef with bulk meal production
  • Ensure data trackers are accurate and up-to-date
  • Maintain inventory effectively
  • Uphold cleanliness and comply with sanitation and hygiene standards
  • Manage facility upkeep including cleaning, sweeping, mopping, and trash removal
  • Adhere to food safety policies and best practices
  • Participate in mission-driven food distribution and disaster relief programs as needed
  • Perform additional duties as assigned
