Job Requirements
- bachelor’s degree in related field preferred
- minimum of 3 years experience in special events coordination or fundraising event planning
- proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- strong attention to detail and commitment to excellence
- ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- proficiency with event management software and tools
- willingness to undergo pre-employment screening including background checks drug screening and vaccination verification

- knowledge of donor cultivation strategies and fundraising best practices

Job Duties
- lead the planning and execution of special events supporting donor cultivation, stewardship and community awareness
- coordinate all special fundraising events community engagement events and donor cultivation events including the annual Good Shepherd Golf Tournament
- ensure events are executed with excellence and align with the ministry’s mission and broader organizational values
- collaborate with internal teams and external partners in strategic planning for donor engagement initiatives
- manage event budgets and vendor relationships
- evaluate event outcomes using data to enhance future effectiveness
- strengthen donor relationships and enhance public awareness through strategic event management
