Job Requirements
- 21 years of age
- Proof of authorization/eligibility to work in the United States
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Must be able to obtain and maintain any certification or license, as required by law or policy
- 2 years of service experience in a luxury hotel, casino, restaurant, or related hospitality area
- Experience with point-of-sale equipment and/or computers
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in English, both spoken and written
- Strong interpersonal skills with ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members of different backgrounds and levels of experience
- Must be able to work varied shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to speak additional language is preferred
- Must be able to lift or carry 50 pounds unassisted
- Must be physically able to access all areas of the property and drive areas with or without reasonable accommodation
- Ability to maintain composure under pressure and meet deadlines
- Ability to interact appropriately and effectively with guests, management, team members, and outside contacts
- Ability for prolonged periods to walk, stand, stretch, bend, and kneel
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and busy environment indoors and be exposed to environmental factors such as CRT, noise, dust, and cigarette smoke
Job Qualifications

- Minimum 2 years of service experience in a luxury hotel, casino, restaurant, or related hospitality area
- Experience with point-of-sale equipment and/or computers
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in English, both spoken and written
- Strong interpersonal skills with ability to communicate across diverse backgrounds and experience levels
- Ability to work varied shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to speak an additional language is preferred
Job Duties
- Answer the phones according to The Venetian standards
- Use defined script to greet guests and determine how to assist them
- Take orders correctly, enter them into POS system and contact butlers for appropriate service
- Keep departmental information relevant and accurate
- Respond to guest requests and answer questions about The Venetian Resort and Las Vegas
- Conduct bookings of transportation requests utilizing ARTS
- Know, adhere to, and practice all aspects of department service standards
- Record all pertinent data into guest profiles as needed
- Assist with recording laundry, dry cleaning, pressing and shoe polishing services
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure all guest needs are fulfilled
- Adhere to all safety guidelines when handling and lifting equipment
- Work in a non-hazardous manner
- Source items such as tickets, shopping, food products, deliveries, and packages
- Assist in fulfilling guest requests that are safe, legal, and economically sound
- Clean and maintain work areas to The Venetian Resort standards
- Maintain a safe work environment
- Consistent and regular attendance
- Perform other related duties as assigned
