Job Requirements

  • Bachelors degree required
  • knowledge of NCAA rules and regulations
  • one or more years of experience in NCAA compliance, athletics administration, or event management (student experience considered)
  • excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • ability to work evenings, weekends, and travel as required
  • demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and problem-solve in fast-paced environments

Job Duties

  • Monitor and support compliance with NCAA, conference, and institutional rules and regulations
  • assist with eligibility certification processes for initial, continuing, and transfer student-athletes
  • manage recruiting documentation, official/unofficial visits, and complimentary admissions
  • support rules education programming for coaches, staff, and student-athletes
  • maintain compliance records and databases
  • provide support for reporting and documentation of NCAA violations and waivers
  • perform other duties and projects as assigned
  • plan, coordinate, and execute home athletics events, ensuring a safe and positive game day experience
  • serve as the primary liaison for coordinating and managing travel logistics for all away competitions
  • serve as primary contact for visiting teams, officials, and game staff
  • oversee event logistics, including facilities setup, event timing sheets, and staff assignments
  • recruit, train, and supervise student workers and event staff
  • collaborate with facilities, security, communications, and campus partners to deliver high-quality events
  • ensure compliance with NCAA rules during contests, including complimentary admissions and game-day protocols
