Job Duties

  • Meet with group coordinators or hosts before the reception and introduce yourself
  • ensure all event preparations are agreed upon and confirmed
  • read and analyze banquet event orders to gather guest information and determine proper organization and timeline
  • manage buffet stations and food service positions
  • attend to and fulfill all special banquet event preparations
  • follow up to ensure compliance with special banquet requirements
  • adhere to all company safety policies and procedures and report any hazards or incidents
  • maintain a professional appearance and uniform
  • protect company confidential information and assets
  • support coworkers and treat them with respect
  • contribute to team goals and quality assurance standards
  • move, lift, transport, push, drag, and position objects weighing up to 25 pounds
  • stand, sit, or walk for long periods during work shifts
  • visually read and verify information in various formats
  • inspect tools, equipment, or machines for defects
  • reach overhead, bend, twist, and maneuver in confined or elevated spaces
  • greet and acknowledge guests according to company standards
  • communicate clearly and professionally and answer phone calls with appropriate etiquette
  • perform other reasonable tasks as requested by supervisors
