Job Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in a recognized postsecondary program
  • Ability to commit to a 4-month term from May to August
  • Strong interest in large system operations
  • Curiosity and eagerness to learn
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Availability to work 37.5 hours per week

Job Duties

  • Conduct a comprehensive assessment of curbside capacity across the Main Terminal using GIS analysis
  • Review applicable traffic and accessibility regulations to identify program gaps
  • Perform vehicle counts at Courtesy Shuttle zones
  • Evaluate peak-period volume trends to inform decision making
  • Develop an analytical report detailing current curb allocations and recommended improvements
  • Prepare and deliver stakeholder presentations
  • Collaborate with YVR teams across departments in a fast-paced operational environment
