Job Requirements

  • Pass background and fingerprint check
  • pass pre-employment drug screening
  • valid New Mexico driver’s license
  • proof of automobile liability insurance
  • reliable transportation
  • agency insurable driving record
  • ability to sit and perform occasional keyboarding
  • ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, and reach above shoulder level frequently
  • ability to lift 50 pounds occasionally

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • one year of experience in food preparation
  • bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish

Job Duties

  • Prepping and serving meals as specified by the Nutritional Program of New Mexico
  • monitoring and assisting with home-delivered meal delivery
  • maintaining and cleaning the kitchen and ensuring equipment is safe and functional
  • overseeing proper food and supply storage including packaging and labeling leftovers
  • reporting food and supply needs to the Site Supervisor
  • completing and maintaining kitchen operation documents
  • performing other assigned duties
