Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- At least 1 year of kitchen or food preparation experience
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
- Ability to stand and walk for up to 4 hours without a break
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and push/pull up to 100 lbs
- Ability to perform repetitive hand and arm movements
- Flexibility to work varying shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays
Job Qualifications
- At least 1 year of experience in a kitchen or food preparation role
- Knowledge of cooking techniques, proper food handling, and sanitation procedures
- Ability to follow recipes, portion standards, and presentation expectations consistently
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Prior experience in airport or travel-related food service is a plus
- ServSafe or equivalent certification preferred
Job Duties
- Prepare menu items according to established recipes and presentation standards
- Ensure all food is made with attention to quality, freshness, and safety
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area throughout each shift
- Follow all health, sanitation, and safety procedures
- Work collaboratively with both back-of-house and front-of-house teams to meet service goals
- Restock and rotate ingredients and supplies as needed
- Report any maintenance or food supply concerns to your supervisor promptly
- Assist with daily opening and closing kitchen duties
