Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED preferred
  • Previous food and customer service experience preferred
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work medium physical work involving lifting, bending, stooping, twisting
  • Capability to stand and walk for prolonged periods
  • Ability to maintain punctual attendance and a positive attitude
  • Willingness to accept varied job assignments in food service environment

Job Qualifications

  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and demonstrate punctuality
  • Familiarity with POS system operation
  • Knowledge of food safety and handling regulations

Job Duties

  • Prepare all hot food items using grill, convection oven, deep fat fryer, rapid cook oven, proofer/oven and combi oven following proper cooking instructions
  • Prepare items according to recipe standards maintaining quality and consistency of foods prepared
  • Serve food using proper utensil and portion control standards in a courteous and professional manner
  • Recognize and enforce proper food storage, handling, and personal hygiene ensuring compliance with NY State Health Department regulations and department HACCP standards
  • Maintain a safe, sanitary and efficient work area and ensure equipment cleanliness and operability, reporting malfunctions
  • Demonstrate effective customer relations skills providing polite, courteous service and operate POS system
  • Accept job assignments and changes in routines including cook, server, cashier, stocker or utility duties as necessary for department operations
