Job Requirements

  • At least one year of relevant work experience in a restaurant or food capacity
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Two or more years experience in high volume food service operation or preparation
  • Available to work when needed including weekends, holidays, and nights
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a valid Kentucky gaming and racing license
  • Capable of standing for long periods and performing physical tasks such as bending, lifting, and moving up to 50 lbs
  • Ability to follow strict food safety and sanitation protocols

Job Qualifications

  • At least one year of relevant work experience in a restaurant or food service capacity

  • Two or more years experience in high volume food service operation or preparation
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a valid Kentucky gaming and racing license
  • Strong knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment

Job Duties

  • Follow recipes and prepare food orders in a uniform and consistent manner
  • Maintain proper food rotation procedures such as labeling and dating products, properly storing and rotating perishables and leftovers
  • Minimize food waste to achieve forecasted food costs
  • Perform general maintenance duties including mopping floors, wiping countertops and cleaning food prep areas
  • Open and/or close kitchen as necessary
  • Accommodate special guest requests related to food preparation
  • Other duties as assigned
