Job Requirements

  • High school graduate or equivalent (GED)
  • Some relevant experience or training in bakery or production work
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
  • Capable of standing for extended periods
  • Ability to read and understand mix formulas
  • Comfortable operating bakery machinery
  • Ability to bend, stretch, and perform repetitive tasks
  • Flexible availability including Monday, Wednesday-Saturday
  • Willingness to work early morning shifts starting at 4 a.m

Job Qualifications

  • Ability to work with deadlines and follow directions
  • Basic math and reading skills
  • Experience working in a fast-paced production environment
  • Willingness to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
  • Good eye/hand coordination
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Job Duties

  • Operate bakery machinery including mixers and dough/batter pumpers
  • Mix cookie and cake dough according to established procedures
  • Ensure product quality by monitoring weights and appearance as products are trayed
  • Follow safe and sanitary food handling policies to prevent contamination
  • Maintain cleanliness of work areas and equipment
  • Assist with waste disposal and general housekeeping
  • Adapt to varying production needs and work in other bakery areas as required
