Job Requirements

  • high school graduate or equivalent (GED)
  • some relevant experience or skills developed through training or work
  • ability to lift 50 lbs
  • ability to read and understand mix formulas
  • ability to use a digital scale
  • ability to run bakery equipment
  • willingness to stand for long periods
  • flexibility in work schedule

Job Qualifications

  • ability to work with deadlines and follow directions
  • basic math and reading skills
  • experience working in a fast-paced environment
  • flexibility to work weekends, occasional Tuesdays, Sundays, and holidays
  • good eye-hand coordination
  • ability to work independently and with others

Job Duties

  • operate all bakery machinery including mixers and dough/batter pumpers
  • learn cookie mixing, cake mixing, production, and baking processes
  • ensure product quality regarding weights, appearance, and consistency
  • follow safe and sanitary food handling policies to prevent contamination and foodborne illnesses
  • maintain a clean work area and wash all equipment
  • take out trash
  • work occasionally in other production areas as needed
