Job Requirements
- Previous cook experience required
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Ability to work full or part time with flexible schedule
- Must be able to perform essential job functions satisfactorily
- Ability to adhere to safety and health regulations
- Availability to work varying shifts based on location
- Ability to maintain clean and safe kitchen environment
- Willingness to use personal protective equipment as required
- Legal authorization to work in the United States

- Ability to prepare food in accord with federal, state, corporate standards
- Knowledge of safe food handling and cleaning procedures
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment

- Willingness to attend safety and in-service meetings
- Ability to follow company policies and procedures
- Basic recordkeeping and inventory skills
Job Duties
- Prepares high-quality food items according to standardized recipes and instructions
- Serves meals or prepares for delivery by using correct portioning, ensuring food is at the correct temperature and is attractive and tasty
- Uses established ticket collection procedures during service and maintains records
- Cleans kitchen after preparation and serving, maintaining high standards of cleanliness
- Stores or discards excess food in accordance with safe food-handling procedures
- Keeps refrigerators and storerooms clean and organized, ensuring proper storage
- Operates and maintains kitchen equipment as instructed
- Assists in production planning, recordkeeping, and ordering of food and supplies
- Reports maintenance needs, faulty equipment, or accidents immediately to supervisor
- Attends in-service and safety meetings
- Maintains good working relationships with coworkers, customers, administrators, and managers
- Performs job safely while maintaining a clean, safe work environment
- Ensures proper presentation, portion control, and serving temperatures following HACCP standards
- Adheres to all company safety policies and procedures
- Performs additional duties as assigned
