Job Requirements

- prior experience in cooking and food preparation
- knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
- ability to operate point-of-sales systems
- effective communication skills
- ability to supervise staff and volunteers
- valid driver’s license for offsite supply procurement

Job Duties
- Manage and supervise subordinate staff and volunteers
- coordinate kitchen operations at the Friendly Cup Cafe
- purchase, sell, and store food and supplies
- prepare, bake, and cook basic food items and meals for breakfast and lunch service
- assist with food menu development and supply requisition
- ensure compliance with health codes pertaining to food preparation, sanitation, and hygiene
- operate the point-of-sales system, count daily revenues, and maintain cash records
- maintain pantry of canned and dry goods and kitchen equipment
- drive offsite to procure food and supplies
- perform other related duties as assigned
