Job Requirements

  • At least two years of experience in a similar kitchen or food service environment
  • knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
  • ability to communicate effectively
  • self-motivation and organizational skills
  • capability to work independently and multitask
  • excellent customer service orientation

Job Qualifications

  • At least two years of experience working in all stations of a hotel kitchen, a restaurant, or a similar operation
  • knowledge of sanitation and safe food handling standards
  • ability to communicate clearly and work cohesively with restaurant team members
  • self-motivated, organized, and professional
  • ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks at one time
  • strong customer service skills

Job Duties

  • Prepare high-quality food following standard recipes and special diet orders
  • work with the Director of Food & Beverage and Sous Chef to manage all aspects of food and supply management
  • secure items in time for food preparation
  • ensure leftovers are stored correctly
  • maintain food inventory levels
