Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous food service experience preferred
  • 1-2 years cooking experience preferred
  • Serv Safe preferred
  • Must be COVID vaccinated
  • Ability to work varying shift times including every other weekend
  • Must be friendly and customer focused
  • Must be action orientated and able to work as part of a team

Job Duties

  • Operate dish machine to wash dishes, glasses, cups, trays, and silverware and record temperatures to ensure
  • Ensure proper drying and storage of dishes, glasses, cups, trays
  • Clean dish machine, dish room area, assigned work areas, equipment, and follow the cleaning schedule
  • Wash pots, pans, and processing equipment according to manufacture
  • Assist with meal service
  • Clean and sanitize food delivery areas
  • Assist in monitoring preparation and service area in sanitary conditions
  • Deliver and transport trays to serving areas or to residents and return trays to clean-up
  • Prepare and deliver between meal snacks
  • Work as part of a team in service to the residents including tableside wait service, buffet or counter service
  • Assist with putting stock away and ensure proper dating and rotation of stock to reduce waste
  • Assist in training and orientation of new staff
  • Attend in-service training sessions and staff meetings
  • Complete all other tasks and related duties as assigned
