Job Requirements
- Food handler's permit in required counties
- Fingerprinting clearance card or eligible to obtain
- Background screening
- Licensure verification if applicable
- Reference check
- Drug testing
- Tuberculosis testing
- Employee health screening after hire
- Ability to move, lift and transfer a minimum of 50 pounds
- Must be able to speak, read, write and understand English
Job Qualifications

- Knowledge of federal and state food safety regulations

Job Duties
- Prepare food safely and timely according to the established facility menu
- Ensure all food preparation meets sanitary and food safety standards
- Adhere to federal and state guidelines related to food preparation
- Prepare appetizing meals that fit within the dietary budget
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen
- Comply with all health and safety regulations
- Assist the Dietary Manager as needed
