Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of 1 year of work experience
  • Food Handlers Card
  • Ability to lift, carry, push, pull or handle merchandise up to 50 lbs
  • Ability to remain standing or walking for entire shift
  • Ability to bend, kneel, climb, reach and grasp
  • Ability to operate kitchen equipment safely
  • Frequent hand washing according to health department guidelines
  • Ability to work any shift and overtime as needed
  • Ability to work weekends and holidays

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of 1 year of relevant work experience
  • Food Handlers Card
  • Demonstrated expert knife skills
  • Ability to operate kitchen equipment safely
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills
  • Ability to follow recipes and maintain quality standards
  • Knowledge of health department codes and proper food handling techniques
  • Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays

Job Duties

  • Perform all station functions including fry, flat top griddle, broiler, pantry, and other back of house equipment
  • Setup or breakdown hot line station per operating standards
  • Complete opening, mid shift, and closing checklists
  • Prepare daily assigned prep items following exact recipes and cooking methods and par levels
  • Handle, store, and rotate all products properly
  • Ensure quality of products served
  • Properly label and rotate products in reach-in coolers
  • Operate equipment safely following guidelines
  • Stock hot line with necessary prep items according to par levels
  • Follow proper food handling techniques per health department code
  • Cook all station menu items according to recipes with appropriate garnishes, plating, portion control, and timing
  • Re-stock perishables daily to maintain product quality
  • Keep work area clean, sanitized, and free of debris
  • Communicate respectfully with other team members and assist as needed
  • Complete all daily side-work and deep cleaning assignments
  • Adhere to policies, procedures, practices and standards set forth in the team member handbook
  • Perform other duties as assigned
