Job Requirements
- high school diploma or equivalent
- previous experience in a kitchen or food preparation environment
- ability to stand for extended periods
- availability to work full-time 12-hour shifts
- weekend availability
- ability to follow food safety and sanitation guidelines
- good physical stamina
- willingness to learn and adapt
- excellent attention to detail

Job Duties
- prepare and plate meals according to planned menus and dietary requirements
- follow modified diets such as low-sodium, diabetic, mechanical soft, and pureed
- ensure meals are served on time and in appropriate portions
- maintain a clean, sanitary, and organized kitchen
- properly store, label, and rotate food and supplies using FIFO
- monitor food quality, freshness, and temperatures during preparation and service
- assist with meal planning and communicate supply needs
- clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, utensils, and work areas after each shift
- comply with facility policies, safety procedures, and resident confidentiality
- work cooperatively with caregiving staff
- work and think quickly under pressure
