Job Requirements
- High school diploma preferred
- Formal training as a cook or vocational training in institutional food preparation and production desirable
- One year experience as a short-order cook or relevant training required
- Ability to speak, read, write and understand English
- Physical ability to stand, walk, stoop, bend, lift up to 50 pounds and perform repetitive motions
- Ability to work in environments exposed to heat, cold, noise and cleaning chemicals
- Compliance with food safety and hygiene regulations
Job Qualifications

- One year experience as a short-order cook or equivalent training

Job Duties
- Prepare and produce quick cooking food items in quantity or as ordered according to instructions
- Perform duties following established policies, procedures and regulatory requirements
- Ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene standards
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the food preparation area
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors
- Handle kitchen equipment and tools safely
- Manage physical demands such as lifting, standing, and repetitive motions
