Job Requirements
- One year of experience in food services or culinary training
- Ability to work a per diem schedule starting at 8:00 am
- Serve Safe Certification preferred
- Ability to follow recipes and safety protocols
- Must comply with health and safety regulations
- Capable of standing for extended periods
- Willingness to work in a fast-paced healthcare kitchen environment
Job Qualifications
- One year of experience in food services preferred
- Knowledge of institutional cooking methods preferred
- Culinary training preferred
- Serve Safe Certification preferred
- Ability to maintain a clean and organized work environment
- Strong attention to detail and food safety practices
- Effective communication skills
Job Duties
- Prepare all hot foods according to established recipes and standards
- Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation guidelines
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen workstations
- Assist in monitoring food supplies and inventory
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely meal delivery
- Adhere to all health department and institutional regulations
- Support other kitchen functions as needed
